// How NOT/AVG. Publishes

EDITORIAL
STANDARDS

These are the rules that govern every post, every product, and every piece of content published under the NOT/AVG. name. They are not suggestions. They are the standard — and they do not bend.

// The 7 Editorial Rules
Rule 01
NEVER USE SAFE OR CORPORATE LANGUAGE

The voice is raw, direct, and uncompromising. We never soften vocabulary to appeal to a mainstream audience. The tone is a filter — it pushes away casual browsers and locks in high-loyalty readers. Sharp, confrontational language is the unfair advantage. It will not be diluted.

Rule 02
NEVER PUBLISH FLUFF FOR VOLUME

Every post must contain a real, raw insight that cuts to the bone. No generic tip lists. No superficial checklists. No filler content published to hit a quota. If an article does not deliver a reality-altering truth, it does not get published.

Rule 03
NEVER CHASE OUT-OF-CHARACTER AFFILIATES

We only recommend books and products that have been fundamentally analyzed and strictly align with a disciplined, high-standard lifestyle. No cheap, unverified, or gimmicky products regardless of commission payout. Trust is the monetization model — it is protected at all costs.

Rule 04
NEVER LOSE THE BRUTALIST AESTHETIC

Raw, high-contrast, text-first UI. No heavy animations, pop-ups, generic stock imagery, or complex tracking bloat. The minimalist design is core to the brand psychology. Keep it lean, fast, and cinematic. Underground archive — not WordPress.

Rule 05
NEVER LET CONTENT BECOME BITTER WITHOUT A PATH FORWARD

Every hard truth exposed must be paired with an explicit path toward personal accountability and building a legacy. Content that only exposes problems without providing a blueprint for self-ownership will burn out the audience. The brand stands for awareness AND action — never one without the other.

Rule 06
NEVER REPEAT WHAT HAS ALREADY BEEN SAID

Every post must stand on its own as a fresh, distinct piece of content. Before publishing any new post, every existing post is audited to confirm the angle, insight, and core argument have not already been covered. Each post must add something new to the archive — a new angle, a new dynamic, a new layer of understanding.

Rule 07
EVERY POST NEEDS A REAL SCENARIO AND A CLOSING LINE

Every post must include at least one concrete, real-world scenario placed in the body — not hypothetical, not "imagine if," but a specific situation a man has actually lived through. Every post must also close with a single distilled lesson — one line that captures the entire piece in something a man can remember and repeat. Short enough to screenshot. True enough to stick. If a post lacks either, it is not finished.

// The 5 Brand Non-Negotiables
01

No safe or corporate language. The voice is the brand. Diluting it for mainstream appeal is not a strategy — it is surrender.

02

No fluff. Every post must earn its place in the archive. Content that does not deliver real value does not get published.

03

No out-of-character affiliates. Every recommendation is backed by genuine evaluation. If we would not use it ourselves, it is not on this site.

04

No aesthetic drift. The brutalist visual identity is non-negotiable. It is not a style choice — it is a brand signal.

05

No bitterness without a path forward. Awareness without accountability is just anger with better vocabulary. NOT/AVG. never ends there.
